SYMPLLATE FULL — LICENSE INFORMATION This directory is intended to be distributed together with the Full build of Sympllate that contains a TranslateGemma GGUF model. Recommended package layout: Sympllate/ Sympllate.exe models/ .gguf licenses/ Gemma/ Notice.txt GEMMA_TERMS_OF_USE.txt MODEL_TERMS.txt MODEL_SOURCE.txt README.txt Sympllate's own source code remains licensed under MIT. The bundled TranslateGemma model is NOT covered by Sympllate's MIT license. Do not remove Notice.txt or GEMMA_TERMS_OF_USE.txt from a Full distribution containing the model. The official Gemma Terms require: - Section 3.2 restrictions to be an enforceable provision in an agreement governing use/distribution of the model; - recipients to receive a copy of the Gemma Terms; - modified files to carry modification notices when applicable; and - non-hosted distributions to contain the required Notice text file. This directory is designed to make those model-specific terms conspicuous and separate from Sympllate's MIT license. Whether passive inclusion of terms in a download creates an enforceable agreement can depend on applicable contract law; the Gemma Terms do not prescribe a particular UI such as a checkbox. Before future releases, check the current official terms for changes: https://ai.google.dev/gemma/terms
